These outdoor panels don't have T&G connection but are installed easily with finishing nails. My recommendation is to use # 16 - not # 18 Gage. The unique design creates a seamless flow between panels. It's an installation that brings the beauty of the natural world right to you.
WHAT MAKES THERMO-TREATED "CLOUDS" PANELS SO SPECIAL?
Premium Thermally Modified "CLOUDS" Panels made from laminated hardwoods (Hickory, Acacia, Poplar) make a unique design by accenting the color and grain play within one piece of wood and between different pieces. The panels are durable for 25 years due to the thermo-treatment process.
The panels are covered with a double UV protection oil (Thompson's Clear Oil-based sealant) on all four sides. The oil has UV protection against color degradation over time, but to keep an original color, we'd recommend repeating oiling every 1-2 years.

INSTALLATION TIPS

Cut it, sand it, nail it, drill it, paint or stain it as you would practically any standard-grade lumber, using the same standard tools.

Take into consideration, that thermo-treated wood is drier (4% EMC), lighter in weight, and a little more brittle than non-treated wood.

Install wood Panels over furring strips for ventilation (alternate 20" and 24" span - vertical or horizontal). Use outdoor-rated finishing nails through the face. Thermo-treated wood furring strips are available.

Saw speed will have an effect on the cut quality; generally, the higher the saw power, the better the cut quality.

A high-quality sealant with UV protection should be used after the first one to two years.
