WHAT MAKES THERMO-TREATED ASH FLUTED SIDING SO SPECIAL?
Premium Thermally Modified Triple Shadow Fluted Ash Siding is durable for 25 years due to the thermo-treatment process. The uniqueness of our Triple Shadow Ash profile is that we apply black painting on three sides of each groove, which creates additional depth. Also, the grooving on the surface is the deepest on the market - the grooves are almost 5/8" deep, and the total board's thickness is 15/16".
We use Clear Premium Grade Ash, which is also covered with a UV protection oil (Hard Wax Oil) on all four sides.
Currently, our thermo-treated Triple Shadow Ash Siding is the best quality product on the market and superior to all existing siding products in this segment.

THERMO-TREATED RADIATA PINE PROFILE
Thermally-treated Radiata Pine Triple Shadow Fluted profile offers a contemporary look with more traditional siding material. In contrast to the Southern Yellow Pine, the Radiata Pine (grown in Australia and New Zealand) has less motley grain variations, which allows the beauty of natural wood and appearance to be highlighted. Radiata Pine is also thermally-treated, and it allows a pretty light color with deep protection against decay due to thermo-modification. The siding is also oiled on four sides and ready to install with no additional oiling.
Radiata Pine
ADVANTAGES OF FACORY OILING
-
Makes product ready to use;
-
Prevents fading of color under sunlight;
-
Prevents seasonal surface checking;
-
It makes wood grain sound and attractive;
-
Our free FOUR side oiling saves you $2-4/SF, which contractors usually charge for ONE-side surface oiling on site; oiling of the back side is extremely important to increase the lifetime and performance of your siding.

INSTALLATION TIPS
-
Cut it, sand it, nail it, drill it, paint or stain it as you would practically any standard-grade lumber, using the same standard tools.
-
Take into consideration, that thermo-treated wood is drier (4% EMC), lighter in weight, and a little more brittle than non-treated wood.
-
Install wood siding over furring strips (use 1 or 2-foot span - vertical or horizontal) for ventilation. Use outdoor-rated nails or screws. Use finishing nails on tongue and through the face when needed. Thermo-treated wood furring strips are available.
-
Saw speed will have an effect on the cut quality; generally, the higher the saw power, the better the cut quality.
-
A high-quality sealant with UV protection should be used after the first one to two years.
